Lack of blogging

Detroit 51 25 .671 -
Chi White Sox 49 26 .653 1.5
Minnesota 39 35 .527 11.0
Cleveland 33 41 .446 17.0
Kansas City 24 50 .324 26.0

So my blogging seems to have become rather spars as of late. It likely will continue to be so. Sorry. I'm sure you have all been lost without my regular Tigers updates. Well, have no fear, for the Detroit Tigers are still in first place and are the best team in the majors right now. My parents are going to game tonight against Houston. They're lucky. They have already won more games then they did in 2003 when they went 43-119. It has been quite the turn around in 3 years.

My sister, Kim, is coming in 3 days to visit me for a month and a half! I am very excited!

I've been working on PDEs and the Feynman Lectures on Physics, so I'll let you know if I have any great revelations;) Don't hold your breath though, it is summer after all.

Snowball came and stayted with me this weekend while Jason and Karlene were in Saskatoon. He was very adorible. Mazy and Tesseract didn't take to him too well at first and there was a lot of hissing and growling going on. But by the end, they were chasing each other around the house. Snowball got into a lot of trouble while he was here. He spent lots of time in the rafters to get away from Mazy and Tesseract. One of the pictures even shows him swinging from one of the beams on his first attempt to get down. After that he had to get assistance from me to get down. He went in the fridge and jumped on the counter numerous times. But, he is adorible and it was lots of fun having him for the weekend.

My little sisters are all grown up

These are my sisters, Kimberly (left) and Katrina, on their prom day (aren't they hot?!). I can't believe my little sisters are old enough to have gone to their prom. They are graduating high school at the end of June. Kimberly is going to Algonquin Collage in Ottawa to study Museam Studies. Katrina is going to Wilfred Lourier in Waterloo to study English and Classical Studies. They are the best little sisters ever and I love them so much. And I am increadibly proud of them.

Pride and Prejudice

Since the Oilers lost yesturday, I did not have to go out and help feed the police until 2am. So Karlene and I decided that we would rent Pride and Prejudice and eat potato chips. It's such a good movie. I already love the BBC mini series and the novel. I didn't know how I would feel having someone other then Colin Firth play Mr. Darcy, but Matthew Macfadyen was perfect. It was great because I enjoyed it just as much as the mini series, but it isn't hours and hours long. It really is so sweet. I'm such a sucker for Jane Austen novels.

Also... that's Tigers are still in first in their division and first in all of major league baseball! Way too cool.
